  For me selecting Katie to represent me in my divorce was more than just picking a name; it means establishing a close and sensitive relationship that will continue for months perhaps longer. I found Katie to be not only a good attorney but someone you can know and trust. The relationship between lawyer and client in a family law matter is especially important. Trust is extremely important in the relationship, You will be telling the lawyer intimate facts of your life and you need to be prepared that your lawyer may have to give you advice and information that you may not like. As a lawyer Katie is one to whom you can talk and listen. The goal of your divorce should be to come to a fair settlement while avoiding court. Some attorneys prefer to fight things out in trial, but that method drags out the case and is much more expensive. I especially enjoyed Katie’s business judgement. She guided me through very difficult divorce. Thank you Katie!!!
